After years of being overweight and the scale going back and forth, I am trying to get my health in check and inspire others to do the same. I quit smoking nearly one year ago and am working now on getting my health to the best place it has been in my entire life.
A little about my past, I have never been thin. For as long as I can remember, I have always been the overweight girl. The one that people say, oh you have such a pretty face, now if only you could lose some weight. Or, you have a great personality. I have tried WeightWatchers, BeachBody, SlimFast, Isagenix and a few others. They all work… until you stop doing it. I have to say that out of all of them the original WeightWatchers Points system worked the best for me. But like all programs, you get out of it what you put in. I tried the new WeightWatchers system late 2016 and in the six months I was on it I lost a whole five pounds. I found this system much harder to get into and follow than the system I was on nearly ten years ago.
But no more excuses, it is time to get into it. You can only hide from the truth for so long and I am tired of running.
